STARKVILLE, Miss. – Fans can relive some of the greatest moments from last season and from Mississippi State history as the Bulldogs take over the SEC Network on Saturday, Aug. 4.
Social media votes allowed the fans to have a hand in determining which games were shown for the fourth-year takeover in which all 14 schools are showcased during a two-week stretch.
Some of the programming fans will get to see will be men's tennis' SEC Tournament championship-clinching win against Texas A&M as well as women's basketball's historic win against UConn from the 2017 Final Four and last season's victory against South Carolina in front of Humphrey Coliseum-record 10,794.
Men's basketball's NIT buzzer-beating win against Baylor starts things off at 11 p.m. CT. Other men's basketball content includes One Night In March, the documentary on the racial barriers the 1963 Bulldog squad had to overcome to participate in the NCAA Tournament, and the 2002 win against Kentucky
Football's Taxslayer Bowl win against Louisville will be shown along with the debut airing of the Nov. 1, 1980, win against Alabama.
Last season's Governor's Cup win against Ole Miss will also be included in the takeover, as will the Game 3 Super Regional win against Vanderbilt that propelled the Diamond Dawgs to the College World Series.
Prior to that game and the women's basketball win against South Carolina, an hour of features and highlights from Hail State Productions kicks off the prime time hour.
This year's SEC Network Takeover slate also includes last season's soccer victory against Missouri and softball's 2005 win against Ole Miss that saw the Bulldogs win with a seven-run seventh inning.
